Pastor Gary Dittman
Pastor Gary arrived to Amazing Grace in the Fall of 2009. He is married to Karen, a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Having studies Drama at Young Harris College and majored in Speech and Drama and Religion at Lagrange College in Georgia, he felt called into ministry of Word and Sacrament. He is a graduate of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and is grateful God has called him to serve and walk with the people of Amazing Grace and East Baltimore.
Rev. Carol Perlie – Minister of Health and Healing
Carol L. Perlie is a native of Baltimore. She serves in the capacity of Office Administrator and Minister of Health and Healing. She facilitates the food pantry, healing and spiritual bible studies, outreach healing services, and provides ad hoc assistance to individuals in addiction and/or recovery according to their need. She is a psalmist, a preacher, an evangelist, a spiritual and pastoral care counselor, and teacher not only to the community of Amazing Grace but to other partnering communities as well.
She has earned a BS degree in Business Management from Morgan State University, an MA degree in Spiritual and Pastoral Care from Loyola College, and a MA degree in Church Ministries with a concentration in Congregational Leadership from St. Mary’s Seminary & University. She was ordained and licensed in 2008.
