Giving Tuesday 2022 Video with Pastor Dittman

On July 13, 2020 members of Charm City Land Trusts (CCLT) celebrated the successful renovation of the organization’s first home with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. CCLT was formed in 2000 and has a long history of stewarding beloved greenspaces in East Baltimore communities. On July 13, it unveiled its most recent acquisition: a newly-renovated house that was formerly vacant and will soon become an affordable home for an East Baltimore resident. This is an exciting step forward for community-controlled development in Baltimore, and the first of many permanently-affordable homes to be developed and stewarded by CCLT. This virtual ribbon cutting was broadcast from multiple locations significant to CCLT and featured the Board, members, and elected officials sharing about the organization’s history, the completed renovation of its first home, and the vision for community-controlled development and permanently-affordable housing in East Baltimore.
